More than just a bathroom – an experience spread over five floors

Right in the heart of Samedan’s historic village centre, directly on the main square and adjoining the listed church, the Mineralbad Samedan awaits you – Switzerland’s first vertical mineral bath. Here you can experience vertical bathing across five storeys – an architectural creation by Miller & Maranta that creates an almost mystical atmosphere with glazed mosaic tiles, sophisticated lighting effects and ever-changing views both inside and out.

As if wandering through a Mountain labyrinth, you’ll make your way through various bathing and steam rooms, immersing yourself in warmth, water and steam, and gradually rediscovering your inner peace. The crowning glory is the rooftop bath with views of the Engadin mountains. For around two hours, you’ll experience pure relaxation – leaving the hustle and bustle of everyday life far behind.

Guests bathe in the precious mineral water from our own spring, which rises from a depth of 35 metres. Rich in sulphur and minerals, it is regarded as a healing spring and has a soothing, revitalising effect on both body and mind.

As well as the bathing ritual, you can look forward to soothing massages and treatments to round off your visit. In the cosy relaxation rooms, you can switch off and enjoy the tranquillity – a place where body and mind can find complete peace.
