A house of tranquillity, with few clear rules

To ensure that our house remains a place of retreat for everyone, we adhere to a few basic principles. Most of them are self-explanatory. We have summarised them here so that your visit gets off to a relaxed start.

Privacy

To ensure that all guests can relax unobserved, smartphones, mobile phones and cameras remain in the cloakroom. E-readers and audio devices with headphones are welcome.

Clothing

In the bathing area, men wear swimming trunks or swimming shorts, women wear a bikini or swimming costume. Burkinis are welcome. No swimwear is required in the Steam baths and Saunas. We will provide you with suitable underwear in the Spa area.

Showers

Showering is obligatory before your first bath. It protects the water and everyone who comes after you.

Before your visit

Your stay is at your own risk. If you have heart or circulatory problems or are pregnant, please discuss the duration of your visit with your doctor beforehand. If you have open wounds or infectious diseases, please refrain from visiting.

With children and young people

The Spa and Sauna area is available to you from the age of 16. Young people up to the age of 15 must be accompanied by a person of legal age; the accompanying person is responsible for supervision. A minimum age of 16 years applies in the Hammam Bern out of consideration for the ritual.

Wardrobe and valuables

Lockable changing room lockers are available for your clothes and bags. Bags are not permitted in the pool, Sauna and Spa area. We accept no liability for valuables. In the event of loss of the chip or cloakroom key, an administration fee of 50.- will be charged.

Food and glass

We are happy to spoil you in our restaurant and lounge. You are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks. Glass bottles and glass containers remain outside for safety reasons.

Smoking and operating hours

Smoking is prohibited in the entire facility. Bathing, Sauna and Spa operations end 30 minutes before the facility closes.

During thunderstorms

In the event of thunderstorms with lightning strikes, the indoor and outdoor pools must be left. Admission fees will not be refunded in this case.

Respect and responsibility

We believe in mutual respect. We may terminate your stay if you violate these rules. The person responsible for soiling or damage is liable, in the case of minors the legal representatives. Further provisions can be found in our GTC.
