In the hammam, you only wear the classic Pestemal (traditional cotton towel), which we provide on loan. You are not allowed to bring your own towels or bath towels during the tour.

The hammam is not wheelchair accessible. A visit is also not recommended for guests with walking aids due to the structural conditions.

In our Bistro you can enjoy small oriental delicacies and drinks. Pay conveniently and cashlessly with your chip bracelet.

Warm water can have a soothing and relaxing effect during pregnancy. As every pregnancy is different, we recommend that you consult your doctor before your visit.

Massages during pregnancy:

• We do not offer massages until the 12th week for health reasons.
• From the 13th week, massages in the supine position are possible.
• The traditional Foam Massage and Foot Massage are not suitable during pregnancy.
• The Satin Shimmer massage is only possible as long as you are comfortable lying on your stomach.

• Admission to the hammam is permitted from the age of 16 (exception: "Hammam for Kids" event).
• We do not offer massages for under 16s.
• From the age of 16, a massage is only possible when accompanied by an adult.
• From the age of 18 you can also enjoy massages unaccompanied.

At the Hammam Bern, you will automatically be assigned a masseuse or masseur - a choice of gender is not possible. We ask for your understanding and invite you to relax in the experienced hands of our team and enjoy the soothing treatment to the full.

• If you are mentally impaired, a massage is only possible with an accompanying person.
• If you have a physical impairment, the massage can also be carried out without an accompanying person - provided you can get onto the massage table independently.

• During the tour, you wear the Pestemal (traditional cotton towel).
• It is removed briefly for exfoliation in the Kese and Lif rooms. These rooms are also available exclusively for women.
• During the massage, your intimate area remains covered at all times. Your privacy and well-being are our top priority.

You do not need a Reservation for the Hammam Admission (Hammam Ritual without treatment). However, as the number of guests is limited, we recommend that you book a treatment to guarantee your entry.

It is worth booking an appointment early for "Ritual Packages" and the "Rhassoul-Packung".

In our small shop on site you will find selected products from our treatments - ideal as a gift or to take a piece of the Orient home with you.

Admission to the Hammam Bern is possible up to 2 hours before closing time. Please note that the wet area closes 30 minutes before closing time.

For your relaxation - and that of the other guests - mobile phones and cameras are not permitted in the hammam.

Everything is provided for you to enjoy the Hammam Ritual. You will receive from us:

• Kese (exfoliating mitt)*
• Hammam wrap
• Tea in the Bistro

* Is made available to you on loan.

If you lose your chip bracelet or cloakroom key, we will have to charge you CHF 50 each for the expense.

A tour of the Hammam Bern - without treatments or wraps - takes about 2 hours.
