Children up to 15 years
Children may only visit the Thermal bath and the Infinity-Pool daily from 09.00 to 17.00 when accompanied by an adult.

Eating and drinking
Bringing and consuming your own food and drink is not permitted in the entire facility. Please use our Bistro for eating and drinking.

Cloakrooms
Please store your valuables and clothing in the lockers provided. Make sure you leave the cloakrooms clean and tidy.

SPA etiquette
The spa is a quiet place. Please talk to your child quietly and considerately. Shouting, splashing, diving and running around are not permitted.

Showering
Showering is obligatory for children and adults before bathing. Some children don't like showering - hold your child close to you, avoid the shower spray over their head and wet them gently with your hands.

Changing and nappies
Please use the changing table in the cloakroom. Dispose of used nappies in a plastic bag that you will find by the sink. Your child will need a suitable swim nappy for the course - these are available from us at reception or from specialist retailers.

Utensils in the water
The use of balls, fins, swimming goggles or other play equipment is not permitted.

Pushchairs
Please only leave your pushchair in the pushchair car park to the left in front of the main entrance. It may not be left in the cloakrooms.

A varied selection of freshly prepared daily delicacies awaits you in the Bistro at the Hürlimannbad. Start relaxed with a delicious breakfast or choose a crisp, seasonal salad - just the way you like it. Whether savoury or light, you'll find just the right thing to make your day an all-round delight.

And the best thing is: you pay for everything conveniently and cashlessly with your chip bracelet - so your time out remains completely relaxed.

Opening hours
Daily from 09.00 to 21.00 hrs

Your stay at Hürlimannbad Zürich is only permitted in normal swimwear*. For reasons of hygiene, please do not wear underwear under your swimwear - especially not under swim shorts.

* Permitted swimwear:
Swimming costumes, bikinis, tankinis, burkinis, swimming trunks or swimming shorts - provided they are specifically designed for use in the water.

Other items of clothing are not permitted in the bathroom.

Our thermal water is rich in minerals and has a beneficial effect on body and mind. In certain cases, however, a visit to us is not recommended - especially in the case of:

• Acute skin inflammation (e.g. eczema)
• Acute joint inflammation
• Severe varicose veins
• Open wounds
• Recent operations
• During pregnancy: up to the 12th week and from the 33rd week

Please inform our team if you have any other medical conditions - such as allergies, the consequences of an accident or injury or ongoing medical treatment that could affect your stay with us.

Warm thermal water has a calming effect on your entire organism - which is why a visit to us can also be very beneficial during pregnancy. However, how your body reacts to warm water is individual. Therefore, please check with your doctor in advance whether a visit is suitable for you.

Massages during pregnancy

• We do not offer massages until the 12th week of pregnancy for safety reasons.
• From the 13th week of pregnancy, you are welcome to indulge yourself with one of our special massages.

Not suitable for pregnant women: Exfoliating Massage and Soap & Foam Massage - we do not offer these during pregnancy.

• Children and young people under the age of 16 cannot book a massage.
• From the age of 16, a massage is only possible when accompanied by an adult.
• From the age of 18, a massage is also permitted unaccompanied.

• If you are mentally impaired, a massage is only possible with an accompanying person.
• If you have a physical impairment, the massage can also be carried out without an accompanying person - provided you can get onto the massage table independently.

In our swimming courses, you spend active time with your child and gently and playfully familiarise them with the element of water. The courses take place in the course pool at Hürlimannbad Zürich. During the lessons, the pool is reserved exclusively for the little participants. The water temperature is a pleasant 35 °C.

General information

Nappy changing & swim nappies
Please nappy your child on the changing table in the cloakroom. Dispose of used nappies in the plastic bags that you will find by the sink. Your child will need a suitable swim nappy for the course - available from us at the main reception or from specialist retailers.

Missed lessons
You can use missed lessons (one or more) within one year after the end of the course as an Admission to the Thermal bath area incl. Infinity-Pool. For details write to us at: babyschwimmen@huerlimannbad.ch

Admission times for children and young people
Children and young people up to the age of 15 (accompanied by an adult):
Daily from 09.00-17.00 hrs
Without child: Daily from 09.00-22.00 hrs

Accompanying person in the course
One accompanying adult per child is permitted in the course pool during the course.

Peace & consideration
The bathroom is a place of peace and relaxation. Please speak quietly and considerately to your child. Shouting, splashing, diving or running around is not permitted.

Our team will be happy to advise you personally.

If you lose your chip bracelet, we will have to charge you CHF 50 for the inconvenience. If the bracelet is found again, you will receive the amount back in the form of a Value cards.

Our pool is particularly popular at weekends, during holidays or in bad weather. There may therefore be longer waiting times between 12.00 and 18.00.

Our tip: Visit us in the morning or towards the evening - it's much quieter then.
